Andreu calls this Jackson Rhoads model 'The Dragon,' referring to the remarkable Gojira Dragon graphic on the matte black body. This American Jackson was designed to perform. Its body and neck are joined by means of a neck-through construction, and both are made of mahogany, ensuring a rich sound with a solid low end. Gojira is a metal band from France with an impressive service record. They've been making music since 1996, gracing many stages world-wide. Labelling Gojira's music isn't easy, as the band mix various styles, encompassing anything from technical death metal to more progressive genres. Legendary acts like Sepultura, Meshuggah and even Tool are obvious influences. Originally, the band started out as Godzilla, but due to copyright laws, they were forced to change their name to the rōmaji spelling of the Japanese monster's name, Gojira.
